About Ofsted
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. Ofsted report directly to Parliment and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regualate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

In September 2021, Field End Junior School converted to an adademy and joined Vangaurd Learning Trust.
Following our Ofsted visit on 23rd and 24th April 2024 the school has been judged as Good in all areas.
